Built for standard 20" Big Blue filter housings, this cartridge effectively reduces up to 3 PPM of dissolved iron from your home's water supply, helping protect sinks, toilets, tubs, and other plumbing fixtures from unsightly stains while improving the overall taste of your water.

The RFFE20-BB uses a radial flow design that channels water through the full iron-reduction media bed, and it adds no harmful chemicals to the water — making it safe for drinking water applications as well as protecting pipes and water heaters from long-term iron damage. It's designed to be installed on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter, and for best results, Pentair recommends pairing it with pre-sediment filtration and post-carbon treatment (commonly an RFC20-BB carbon cartridge) as part of a complete whole house system.
