The Pentek Polydepth Series is a line of thermally bonded polypropylene microfiber cartridges engineered for high-efficiency sediment and turbidity reduction across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Unique micro-grooves in the fiber construction add surface area, delivering consistent flow rates and superior filtration performance compared to standard spun cartridges.
Each cartridge incorporates a rigid polypropylene center core for increased collapse strength and durability, and the thermal-bonded microfiber design minimizes fiber release while resisting brittleness and breakage issues common in resin-bonded cartridges. Polydepth cartridges will not impart taste, odor, or color to filtered liquid, making them well suited to food and beverage applications, and their polypropylene construction offers superior chemical resistance with no susceptibility to bacterial attack.
Rated for operating temperatures up to 175°F, Polydepth cartridges handle many hot-water applications that other polypropylene cartridges cannot. Unlike competing cartridges, longer lengths are manufactured as continuous cartridges rather than glued sections - so they won't separate during use or sacrifice filtering surface area.
