The Pentek P Series is a full line of spun-bonded polypropylene sediment filter cartridges, manufactured from 100% pure polypropylene fibers that are carefully spun together to form a true gradient density from outer to inner surfaces. This construction delivers dependable particulate reduction while remaining highly resistant to chemicals and bacterial attack.
Designed for purity, P Series cartridges won't impart taste, odor, or color to filtered water when used within their recommended temperature range. Their coreless strength comes from sintering the polypropylene fibers into a solid matrix — no separate support core needed — while maintaining structural integrity under flow.
Available in nominal 1, 5, and 25 micron ratings and lengths from 4.88" up to a full 40", the P Series covers everything from compact point-of-use housings to high-capacity whole house and industrial applications. The P1, P5, P1-20, and P5-20 models are tested and certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements.
