The Pentek ChlorPlus Series is purpose-built for chloramine reduction, a growing need as more municipalities switch from chlorine to chloramine for water disinfection. These carbon block and radial flow GAC cartridges deliver superior chloramine and chlorine reduction using granular activated carbon (GAC) technology, while also reducing sediment and significantly cutting down on the carbon fines commonly released by standard granular carbon canisters.
The ChlorPlus lineup covers both point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) applications: the ChlorPlus-10, ChlorPlus-20, ChlorPlus-10BB, and ChlorPlus-20BB models use advanced bonded PAC media for fine 1-micron filtration, while the CRFC-BB and CRFC20-BB use a radial flow GAC design with a 25-micron post-filter, ideal for higher flow rate and capacity applications where lower pressure drop matters most.
