Get cleaner, better-tasting drinking water at the point of use with the Pentair OmniFilter GAC1 replacement cartridge (Item #GAC1-SS4-S06). Built for under-sink and standard 10" x 2.5" filter housings, this granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge reduces unwanted tastes, odors, chlorine, and coarse sediment down to 20 microns.

The GAC1's construction directs water in one end and through the entire length of the loose-fill granular carbon bed before exiting the other end, maximizing contact time between water and carbon for optimal adsorption. An internal expansion pad minimizes channeling or bypass, while a post-filter permanently fastened to a support basket helps reduce carbon fines and other suspended particles before the water reaches your tap — all while maintaining a low pressure drop for steady flow.

The non-cellulose carbon media is suitable for both chlorinated city water and non-chlorinated well water supplies, making the GAC1 a versatile choice for a variety of household water sources. It pairs best with Pentair OmniFilter CBF1, CBF3, OT32, USM2, and SFM2 under-sink systems, and fits standard 10" x 2.5" housings from other major manufacturers including GE, Whirlpool, Culligan, Aqua-Pure, Cuno, 3M, and Watts. Rated for a 2,000-gallon capacity, replace approximately every 3 months, or sooner if you notice a decrease in water quality or flow.
