9" X 48" Aio Hydrogen Sulfide Filter System | Air Injection Sulfur Water Filter for Well Water
9" x 48" AIO Hydrogen Sulfide Filter for Well Water
Get rid of the rotten egg smell for good. The 9x48 AIO is a complete single-tank air injection hydrogen sulfide filter that removes sulfur odor, iron, and manganese from well water with no chlorine, peroxide, or potassium permanganate. Its compact 9" x 48" tank makes it a cost-effective sulfur water filter for smaller homes, cabins, cottages, and point-of-entry applications with lower water demand.
How the AIO Sulfur Filter Works
The WS1EE control valve maintains a pocket of air at the top of the tank. As water passes through the air head, dissolved hydrogen sulfide (H2S), iron, and manganese are oxidized into solid particles that are trapped by the media bed. During each automatic backwash, the trapped contaminants are flushed to drain and fresh air is drawn in to recharge the oxidation zone, so the system regenerates itself with no chemicals to add.

Is the 9x48 the Right Size?
The 9" x 48" AIO filter is best suited to smaller households. Before installing, confirm that your well pump can deliver the backwash flow rate the system requires. For larger homes, higher flow rates, or heavier sulfur levels, browse our full range of AIO hydrogen sulfide removal systems.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this filter remove the rotten egg smell from my well water?
Yes. The air injection process oxidizes hydrogen sulfide gas, the cause of the rotten egg smell, and the media bed filters it out.
Does an AIO filter use chemicals or salt?
No. It uses oxygen from air to oxidize contaminants and regenerates automatically by backwashing.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. The control valve plugs into a standard outlet to run its automatic backwash schedule.
Should it be installed before a water softener?
Yes. Install the AIO filter ahead of a softener or RO system to protect resin and membranes from sulfur, iron, and manganese.
