12x48 AIO Hydrogen Sulfide Filter | Sulfur Water Filter

12" x 48" AIO Hydrogen Sulfide Filter for Well Water

Get rid of the rotten egg smell for good. The 12x48 AIO is a complete single-tank air injection hydrogen sulfide filter that removes sulfur odor, iron, and manganese from well water with no chlorine, peroxide, or potassium permanganate. Its wide 12" diameter tank holds more filter media than smaller models, making it a high-capacity whole-house sulfur water filter for larger homes, higher water demand, and light commercial applications.

How the AIO Sulfur Filter Works

The WS1EE control valve maintains a pocket of air at the top of the tank. As water passes through the air head, dissolved hydrogen sulfide (H2S), iron, and manganese are oxidized into solid particles that are trapped by the media bed. During each automatic backwash, the trapped contaminants are flushed to drain and fresh air is drawn in to recharge the oxidation zone, so the system regenerates itself with no chemicals to add.

Key Features

Is the 12x48 the Right Size?

The 12" x 48" AIO filter is designed for larger households and homes with higher water demand. Because a wider tank needs more water to backwash properly, confirm that your well pump can deliver the backwash flow rate the system requires before installing. For average-size homes, consider the 10" x 54" model, or browse our full range of AIO hydrogen sulfide removal systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this filter remove the rotten egg smell from my well water?

Yes. The air injection process oxidizes hydrogen sulfide gas, the cause of the rotten egg smell, and the media bed filters it out.

Does an AIO filter use chemicals or salt?

No. It uses oxygen from air to oxidize contaminants and regenerates automatically by backwashing.

Does it need electricity?

Yes. The control valve plugs into a standard outlet to run its automatic backwash schedule.

Should it be installed before a water softener?

Yes. Install the AIO filter ahead of a softener or RO system to protect resin and membranes from sulfur, iron, and manganese.

What is the difference between the 10x54 and 12x48 AIO?

The 12x48 uses a wider tank that holds more filter media, giving it more capacity for larger homes and higher water demand. The 10x54 is a versatile choice for average-size households and needs less backwash flow from the well pump.
