The Next ScaleStop 9x48 salt-free water softener system delivers whole house scale protection without salt, a brine tank, a drain line, or electricity. Filled with genuine Next-ScaleStop TAC media, it uses Template Assisted Crystallization to convert dissolved calcium and magnesium into microscopic, inactive crystals that can't stick to pipes, fixtures, water heaters, or appliances. Rated for up to 16 GPM, it's sized for most single-family homes and light commercial applications.

Water Quality Requirements
- Hardness: up to 75 gpg
- Iron: less than 0.3 ppm
- Manganese: less than 0.05 ppm
- Chlorine: less than 2 ppm
- pH: 6.5 – 8.5
- Oil, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and polyphosphates must be removed before the system
